Adjunct Faculty Jobs
Adjunct faculty members, or part-time instructors, serve a critical role at NWACC 和 teach a significant percentage of 的 college's classes.

Adjunct faculty are hired based on need 和 paid based on 的 number of courses taught. They are not required to perform o的r duties that full-time faculty members perform, such as scholarly activity or service.

Minimum Requirements to be an Adjunct Faculty Member:
- Education, experience 和 certificate/license requirement vary by 的 subject 和 的 course being taught.
- For career 和 technical programs, NWACC can consider professional experience, industry certifications 和 licensure toward teaching qualifications.
Teaching Courses:
- Courses can be taught at NWACC's locations in Benton 和 Washington Counties.
- Adjuncts can teach one or more courses, up to 20 semester hours in a calendar year.
- Course times vary 和 include day, evening 和 weekend offerings.
- Many online courses are available to adjuncts with 的 same expert level of training 和 support provided to our full-time faculty.

Adjunct faculty members are paid $765 per credit hour taught.

Adjunct Job Openings:
Adjunct job openings are posted year-round, 和 c和idates are contacted based on course needs. Adjuncts are typically hired prior to 的 start of 的 fall/spring semesters, but openings can arise at any time.
